The Aventus Network (AvN), a 2nd-layer blockchain protocol that brings scalability, speed and lower costs to Ethereum transactions, today opened round two of its Validator Registration Program to Aventus Token (AVT) holders at 9am UK time.
The first round of the Validator Registration Program, which took place 2–9 February, resulted in 1.6m AVT being staked on the Network, beating the company’s initial target of 1.25m AVT. The AvN currently has 10 nodes with a stake of 250,000 AVT each, meaning round one reached 66% of total capacity.
A remaining 850,000 AVT can be staked in round two, which will remain…

Blockchain has the power to usher in a new era of transparency, creating a trustless world that rewards good behaviour by leaving nothing hidden in the shadows.
Transparency, by a long way, is the best regulator of behaviour, and it’s made possible on blockchains with block explorer tools like Etherscan for Ethereum and the newly launched Aventus Network Block Explorer.
In a blockchain world with open access to block explorers, businesses will compete on transparency. The greater their transparency, the greater their appeal to investors and customers. …

Let’s get started.
Following launch on the 16th of February, the Aventus Network (AvN) has now processed more than 1.2m transactions.
Aventus closed phase 1 of its Validator Registration Program on February 9th as it awaited confirmation from final validator registrants.
Having set an initial target of 1.25m AVT, 50% of the total required, the program surpassed that goal by receiving approximately 1.6m AVT — approximately 66% of capacity.
With a total supply of 10m tokens, the 1.6m received represents a significant portion of supply.
This is excellent news for Aventus and AVT holders as the company continues its new direction as a second-layer blockchain protocol that brings scalability, lower costs, and speed to Ethereum transactions.
Validators accepted onto the program…
On February 1st, Aventus launched the Validator Registration Program to enable AVT holders to earn Aventus Network transaction fees from the processing of transactions on the network.
In the first 24 hours following Aventus’ launch of Validator Registration, the program is already more than 25% full.
What is the Aventus Validator Registration Program?
The Aventus Network (AvN) main net is a second-layer blockchain protocol that brings scalability, lower costs, and speed to Ethereum transactions.
